Bio

Dr. Marseu obtained a BSc (Biology) from Western University, an MD from McMaster University, and her Royal College Fellowship in Anesthesiology (2012). She completed her anesthesia residency at U of T, and fellowships at TGH in Cardiothoracic Anesthesia. Dr. Marseu joined the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management at TGH in 2013, as a clinical anesthesiologist with a special interest in thoracic anesthesia, and a hyperbaric physician. She also completed her MSc in Health Science Education from McMaster University. Dr. Marseu has been actively involved in postgraduate education since joining the faculty, having held the roles of: Postgraduate Site Coordinator in Anesthesia at TGH, Curriculum Coordinator for the Anesthesia Residency Program, and Resident Remediation Coordinator. In 2021, she took on her current roles of Chair of the Anesthesia Residency Competence Committee, Royal College Examiner in Anesthesiology, and Director of Education for the newly created Hyperbaric Medicine Area of Focused Competency Program at TGH.
